Job summary

Alexander & Schmidt seeks a Loss Control Field Representative to perform on-site inspections of property, general liability and incidental auto and to prepare reports for underwriting decisions. The role requires travel within a defined territory and strong written communication.

Reporting will focus on high-quality loss control surveys to assist underwriters in selecting profitable business and helping insured minimize losses through detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience with a commercial carrier or as an independent loss control contractor.
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines including property, general liability, auto and workers compensation.
• Strong writing, organizational and computer skills.
• Travel within a 60 mile radius.
• Professional certifications CSP, OHST, ALCM and/or ARM are preferred, but not required.
• Uploading completed reports, photos and diagrams through a special website or complete reports on web based systems.
