Job summary

ARMStrong Insurance Services is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors to join our team. The role is part-time/occasional with hours varying; you will conduct physical inspections on commercial or residential properties and prepare surveys with photos.

You will work from home within your assigned territory, travel to inspection locations, report status, and communicate with insured by phone, email, or text. Must live within 30 miles and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Competent use of digital camera, word processing and e-mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must live within 30-mile radius of territory.
• Job will be based from home with required travel to each inspection location within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on commercial or residential properties.
• Apply manual rules and company standards to find possible risks to reduce accidents.
• Prepare a schedule to maximize optimal use of time and to ensure timely service is met.
• Correspond with insured via phone, email and text message as necessary to set up appointments.
• Complete a physical loss control survey to identify current issues or hazards.
• After inspection, prepare required reports to include multiple pictures.
• Communicate survey status via internal progress reports.
