Job summary

ARMStrong Insurance Services is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors to join our team on a part-time, occasional basis. The role is based from home with travel within your assigned territory, performing inspections of commercial or residential properties.

You will apply manual rules and company standards to identify hazards, prepare loss control surveys with photographs, and provide timely reports. You will also coordinate with insured by phone, email or text to set up appointments.

Qualifications

• Competent use of digital camera, word processing and e-mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must live within 30-mile radius of territory.
• Home-based role with travel to inspection locations within your territory.
• Maintain automobile insurance with bodily injury limits equal to or greater than $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident or $300,000 combined.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on either commercial or residential properties.
• Apply manual rules and company standards to identify risks to reduce the chance of accidents.
• Prepare a schedule to maximize optimal use of time and to ensure time service is met.
• Correspond with insured via phone, email and text message to set up appointments.
• Complete a physical loss control survey to identify current issues or hazards.
• Prepare required reports with multiple photos after inspections.
• Communicate survey status via internal progress reports.
