Starr is seeking an engineering professional to conduct on-site risk surveys and evaluations for commercial clients. The role involves risk assessment across diverse project types, collaboration with underwriting, and maintaining up-to-date loss control data, with travel and schedule management responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree and demonstrate strong communication and computer skills, with a willingness to work in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• College graduate with strong communication and relationship skills – preferably Civil, Construction, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree.
• Degree from an accredited engineering program is desired although relevant industry experience will be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer system skills

Responsabilités

• On-site surveys and risk evaluation for Starr Tech clients and attending client meetings.
• Travel up to 35% (Hybrid) and maintain own schedule as monitored by North American Construction Property Manager.
• Conduct risk assessments for projects across buildings, civil infrastructure, energy, chemical, petrochemical, process industries.
• Produce narrative risk assessment loss control reports for underwriting and clients.
