Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA is hiring a Lexus Delivery Specialist to deliver new and certified Lexus vehicles to guests and explain features to ensure optimal ownership experience.

This full-time position requires weekend/evening coverage and is 100% on-site. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, accurate paperwork, and cross-functional collaboration with the sales team to meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in the automobile or technology industries preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license required.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and confirm the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Ensure vehicle serial numbers match delivery paperwork.
• Complete delivery paperwork/electronic transactions in a timely manner.
• Arrive on time to scheduled appointments and communicate with the sales team about issues or schedule changes.
• Stay current with product knowledge, especially new features and benefits for guests.
• Introduce guests to dealership operations, including service and parts.

We are looking for a Lexus Delivery Specialist that can thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment to deliver new and Lexus Certified vehicles to our guests after their purchase and explain all the incredible functions and features to make sure our guests get the most out of their vehicle.

This is a full-time position and does require weekend and evening coverage because we make ourselves available to when our guests are available. Our team gets to work with an amazing sales team and by working for Longo, you can be sure that you will be surrounded only by the very best.

The Lexus Delivery Specialist has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $20.00.

• Completes delivery paperwork/electronic transaction in a timely manner as defined by dealership.
• Arrives on time to scheduled appointments and maintains constant communication with the designated sales personnel on each vehicle delivery reporting back on any issues, concerns, or schedule changes.
• Stays current with all product knowledge, especially with regard to new features, accessories and the benefits and convenience for our guests.
• Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations.
• Maintain and achieves the sales and guest satisfaction objectives set by management.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain high ethical standards in all actions.
• Maintain professional appearance at all times.
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of one (1) year customer service experience in the automobile or technology industries, preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle leasing principles; basic mathematical concepts (such as add, subtract, divide, multiply, and percentages); equity values and depreciation; and laws that govern retail automotive sales.
• Ability to coordinates activities with other employees (team player); read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales; use good judgment in challenging situations; pay attention to detail; follow-up with guests and employees; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet and in person; use standard office equipment.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record.

Physical Demands

• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body, arms, and/or legs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation and wind, noisy environments, and small and/or enclosed spaces.

• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
