Responsibilities

• Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement.
• Monitors, supervises, coordinates, and enforces behavior according to district policy.
• Observes, evaluates, and records students' performance, behavior, and health.
• Prepares educational outlines, objectives, and materials per curriculum guidelines.
• Sets clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
• Delivers subject matter using varied teaching methods and technology.
• Instructs students individually and in groups with diverse methods.
• Administers and grades tests; reports grades using district software.
• Prepares attendance and activity reports for administrators.
• Communicates with parents/guardians and staff to address student issues.
