Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement.
• Monitors, supervises and enforces classroom conduct according to district policy.
• Observes, evaluates and records student performance and behavior.
• Prepares course outlines, objectives and materials per curriculum guidelines.
• Establishes clear objectives for lessons and projects.
• Presents subject matter using varied teaching methods and technology.
• Instructs students individually and in groups using diverse methods.
• Prepares, administers and grades tests and assignments; records grades in district software.
• Prepares attendance and activity reports as required.
• Communicates with parents/guardians and staff to resolve student issues.

Education
