Foster-Glocester Regional Schools in Glocester, Rhode Island is seeking a Long Term Substitute: Financial Secretary - Accounts Payable/Receivable. The role reports to the Business Manager and supports the district’s financial operations and office efficiency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree or Administrative Assistant / Secretary Training Program required;
Two plus years of successful financial, bookkeeping, or secretarial experience;
Knowledge & experience with automated accounting software required, with preference to experience with Infinite Vision accounting software;
Knowledge of and experience with the use a variety technology programs and systems, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Google Docs, in order to maximize the efficiency of the schools;
Ability to work with mathematical concepts, apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations;
Knowledge UCOA, automated accounting systems and accounting practices and ability to prepare financial report requests in a timely manner;
Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills;
Knowledge of and experience with managing accounts payable, auditing and approving expenses, and other financial record keeping;
Knowledge and skills to maintain high level of confidentiality;
Knowledge and skills to multitask and work in a busy environment;
Knowledge and skills to maintain accurate financial and school/district records and documentation;
Knowledge and skills to manage operations of the district business office and other school offices in order to coordinate and support staff, teachers, and administrators in achieving the mission of the district; and
