Responsibilities

• Monitors building to ensure the well-being of students, staff, and visitors.
• Detect and report unauthorized or suspicious persons and activities.
• Notify the appropriate supervisor of any emergency, potentially dangerous, or unusual situations.
• Ensure smooth traffic flow and direct student movement between class periods and at other transition times.
• Observes and reports any damage, graffiti and maintenance issues to school property;
• Maintains a positive relationship with students, staff and the community;
• Ensure facilities are secured after school hours.
• Receive, organize and notify staff of delivered packages.
• Supervise late parent pick up for students.
• Generate letters to frequent late pick up parents.
• Ensure late pick up students are dismissed according to procedures.
• Assist with dismissal duty.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Salary: $125.00 Annually

THIS IS A LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE POSITION FROM NOVEMBER-JANUARY

Summary:

The School Safety Monitor will play an integral role in creating and maintaining a warm, welcoming,

and safe environment for all students, employees, and visitors. This position is full time from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

when school is in session.

Major Responsibilities:

• Monitors building to ensure the well-being of students, staff, and visitors.

Pay:

$125 per day for the first 30 days/ $150 per day after 30 days
