Job summary

You will monitor the building, manage student movement, report emergencies, and support dismissal while maintaining safety and a welcoming environment. Ideal candidates have an Associates degree (preferred) and strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the building to safeguard students, staff and visitors.
• Detect and report unauthorized or suspicious persons or activities.
• Notify supervisor of emergencies or unusual situations.
• Assist with directing student movement during transitions.
• Observe and report damage, graffiti and maintenance needs.
• Maintain positive relations with students, staff and community.
• Ensure facilities are secured after school hours.
• Receive, organize and notify staff of delivered packages.
• Supervise late parent pickup for students.
• Prepare letters for frequent late pickups and ensure proper dismissal.
• Assist with dismissal duty; perform additional duties as assigned.
