Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 60 college credits or passing an exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist students to reinforce reading, language arts, and math.
• Work with students individually and in small groups.
• Assist professional staff with classroom exercises, tests, and assessments.
• Support classroom preparations and instructional materials.
• Help with record-keeping of student learning and performance.
• Contribute to behaviour management to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Assist with non-instructional duties such as lunch, bus, and playground supervision.
• Accompany students on field trips for supervision.
