Bay Bluffs- Emmet County Medical Care Facility is seeking compassionate nurses with geriatric, end of life or palliative care experience to serve residents in a home-like environment. Join a team dedicated to dignity and comprehensive care across short-term rehab, long-term and dementia-focused services, including End of Life/Hospice care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing.
• Current state license as an RN or LPN.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Compassionate, friendly demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psycho social, and environmental needs of residents.
• Assess residents’ conditions and chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review.
• Administer medication as prescribed by the resident’s physician.
• Provide effective communication to residents, their family members, team members, and other health care professionals.

Bay Bluffs- Emmet County Medical Care Facility is currently seeking nurses with geriatric, end of life and/or palliative care experience. With a total team approach, we combine dedicated administration with an experienced professional staff to offer a variety of services and programs for our residents, ranging for short term rehabilitation to long-term and dementia focused care, and End of Life/Hospice care.
