Ebenezer Pharmacy, a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Arden Hills, MN, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician. You will process prescriptions, enter orders, and support pharmacists in a fast-paced LTC setting, with weekend rotation every third weekend.

Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, communicating with nurses and providers, creating resident profiles, handling refills and insurance billing, and dispensing medications per protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior data entry experience in pharmacy systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong mathematical skills for discounts, proportions, percentages and quantities.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription information and enter new orders into the pharmacy system with high accuracy.
• Answer calls from nurses, providers, residents and staff; provide high-quality service.
• Create and maintain resident profiles and prescription records.
• Process refills and changes to orders.
• Handle insurance billing.
• Prepare, package, and dispense medications per physician orders and protocols.
