The position requires MD registration, a potential PTCB/NHA certification, and 2–3 years of supervisory pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the MD State Board of Pharmacy is required (good standing).
• Nationally certified as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) preferred.
• Two to three years prior supervisory pharmacy technician experience required.
• Basic computer skills required, along with a solid grasp of medical terminology, math, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy fulfillment operations, supervise technicians to meet quality, productivity, and service goals.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, attendance tracking, and workflow assignments.
• Monitor performance to meet deadlines and accuracy standards.
• Oversee medication fulfillment, bulk dispensing, and labeling activities.
• Operate and maintain pharmacy systems and automated dispensing equipment.
• Ensure accurate preparation and delivery of medications.
