Job summary

CVS Health, through Omnicare, is hiring a Pharmacist for a Long Term Care Pharmacy in Colorado. The role focuses on accurate dispensing, regulatory compliance, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a dedicated pharmacy team to support long-term care facilities, manage schedules, and uphold HIPAA and state laws while delivering high-quality service to patients and providers.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Colorado.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV Certification or experience preferred.
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check for completeness and precision of all labels and orders.
• Check drug packaging and labeling for accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV drug products if required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Follow DEA and state law regarding controlled dispensing.
