Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare division seeks a licensed pharmacist for a Long Term Care facility. This non-customer-facing role supports LTC operations with dispensing, drug information, and coordination to ensure safe patient care.

The position is full-time with evening shifts (2:30pm-11pm) and weekend rotations (6am-2:30pm or 10am-6:30pm). Typical weekends 2-3 per month; on-call not required. Compensation reflects LTC market norms.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Arizona, active and in good standing.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check labeling for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products if required.
• Maintain perpetual inventory for controlled drugs.
• Knowledge of DEA and state laws for dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Follow HIPAA and applicable regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
