Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Long Term Care RN for per diem assignments in Pocatello, ID. You will provide bedside nursing care in LTC/assisted living settings, using clinical judgment and coordinating patient care with supervision.

The role requires active RN licensure, LTC experience preferred, and adherence to applicable standards and certifications. Perdiem schedule may include 8-hour shifts with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• LTC experience preferred.
• LTC or Assisted living certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients in Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living Facilities.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment with supervision and coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to nursing standards and manage patient care activities.

The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living Facilities. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilities in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
