Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Grand Rapids, MI. The RN will provide skilled nursing care in LTC and/or Assisted Living facilities, applying clinical judgment and coordinated patient care under supervision where needed.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, LTC experience if possible, and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• LTC/assisted living experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred where applicable.
• Current health certificate as per contract or state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living facilities.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking and patient care coordination.
• Adhere to nursing standards and ensure safe, effective care delivery.

Location:Grand Rapids, MI

The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility andaccountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/orAssisted Living Facilities. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilitiesin the coordination of patient care.Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standardsand is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in themanagement of patient care.

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
• LTC experience preferred
• LTC or Assisted living certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
