Job summary

MetaStar, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to develop and oversee a mentorship program for long-term care leaders within Wisconsin. The role involves pairing senior nurses or administrators with emerging leaders, guiding leadership transitions, and ensuring regulatory readiness.

The position supports in-state travel up to 35% and requires collaboration with multiple health care partners. Strong mentoring, communication, and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of long-term care leadership experience (DON or administrator).
• Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with survey readiness, leadership transitions, workforce retention, or operational leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Word.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 35% in-state.

Responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive long-term care mentorship and training program.
• Collaborate with co-design organization to gather perspectives for THRIVE LTC.
• Provide structured mentorship through the THRIVE LTC network.
• Participate in one-on-one mentor meetings, virtually and in-person.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in mentoring.
