Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited college or university starting January 1, 2024.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Pennsylvania or licensure within 6 months of hire.
• Must follow CMS vaccination guidelines.
• Experience with facilities using quantity food production methods.
• Ability to maintain records and complete reports.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to interact positively with residents, interdisciplinary team, and public.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and laws governing nursing facility diets.
• Leadership ability and willingness to guide other personnel.
• Ability to plan and implement Food Services Department programs.

Responsibilities

• Directly providing nutrition services according to policies and federal/state requirements.
• Plan and direct nutritional care of residents per standards.
• Collaborate with dining and clinical staff to ensure daily quality nutrition.
• Serve as a resource to the Dining Services Department Head for a safe dietary environment.
• Liaise between dining and clinical staff for seamless communication.
• Support Towson Culinary's purpose, vision, values, and DNA.
