Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Dietitian in New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of professional dietitian experience in long-term care.
• One year of experience as a registered consulting dietitian serving long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and comprehensive dietary assessments for residents.
• Create written dietary plans identifying nutritional concerns and goals.
• Engage residents and families in care plan development and reviews.
• Ensure dietary staff follow each resident's care plan.
• Identify equipment and utensils needed for resident-specific diets.
• Review medical charts and recommend medical nutrition therapy.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents' nutritional health.
