Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will support residents with meals, follow dietary guidelines, and uphold safety and cleanliness.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliable work ethic, and excellent customer service. Training and development are provided; ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state laws. Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong communication with residents, staff and guests.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
