Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with kitchen tasks, and provide friendly, high-quality service to residents and staff.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Training and ongoing support are provided by HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state/county law.
• Must reside within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
