You will interpret and translate, coordinate with ELL teachers and administrators, assist in case-management, and help families enroll their children, participate in events, and access services. This role starts around October 8, 2026.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2 years of college in a related field with relevant work experience.
• Bilingual oral and written communication skills in two languages (English and another).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as interpreter and translator between home and school.
• Coordinate with administrators, ELL teachers, classroom teachers, social workers and guidance.
• Assist in case-managing of students and join staff for home visits and coordinate services with city agencies.
• Facilitate family engagement activities and help parents enroll their children in school.
• Interpret for parents/guardians at conferences and Open House events.
