Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Rahway, a 34-bed long-term acute care facility on the RWJ University Hospital campus, provides extended recovery with 24-hour clinical care seven days a week. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing care provided to patients.
• Document patient admission assessment, care plans and pertinent information in the medical record.
• Administer medications with the five rights of medication administration.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and coordinate the plan of care with patient and family.
