Job summary

Kindred Hospital New Jersey – Morris County is a 45-bed long-term acute care hospital offering extended recovery care and 24-hour clinical support seven days a week. This role assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in the assigned area and supports patients with activities of daily living.

Under RN direction, you will perform routine care, take vital signs, assist with transfers and meals, respond to call lights, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BCLS certification within facility-specified time frame.
• Minimum 6 months in an acute care or long-term care facility (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic patient care.
• Support nursing staff with routine treatments and transfers.
• Take and record vital signs and document findings.
• Answer call lights and respond to patient needs.
• Transport patients and assist with admissions and discharges.
