Job summary

NAYA in New York is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead multi-unit restaurant operations, coach General Managers, and drive guest satisfaction and financial performance. You’ll oversee sales, labor, and cost controls while promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of restaurant leadership across multiple states, strong P&L and analytical skills, and a passion for developing talent in a fast-paced growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management/leadership operations experience.
• Experience with senior operations management across multiple states.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from colleagues.
• Exceptional financial acumen.
• Thrives in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-unit operational and financial health across the region.
• Supervise area General Managers and assist them with coaching and development.
• Drive 4-wall EBITDA while elevating guest and employee experience.
• Partner with HR and leadership to set clear expectations and accountability.
• Review P&L reports monthly and adjust strategies to meet financial targets.
• Forecast and monitor expenses to achieve company goals weekly, monthly and yearly.
