Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a Line Haul Extraboard Driver to move freight between Estes Service Centers. You will operate tractors/trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain logs while following FMCSA regulations.

The role requires a Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker endorsements, and the ability to work varied schedules, with a focus on safety and reliable service to customers across the Estes network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA regulations; 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with company, FMCSA and local laws.
• Maintain records in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Perform safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public; adhere to safety and security procedures.
