Job summary

Bulk-Express-Transport is seeking a Driver-Long Distance to operate company tractor-trailers on long-haul routes, including overnight travel. You will be responsible for on-time, damage-free delivery and maintaining strict DOT/FMCSA compliance, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 2+ years of verifiable experience, ability to be away from home overnight, strong safety record, and the ability to handle load securement and paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid Class A CDL; tanker or HAZMAT endorsement a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA driver qualification requirements and possess a DOT medical certificate.
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and participate in random testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Performs pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections; reports defects immediately.
• Records hours of service using ELD and adheres to hours-of-service limits.
• Delivers loads on schedule; communicates delays or changes to Driver Manager.
• Ensures loads are secured and weighed within legal limits; completes shipping documents on time.
• Maintains professional image and provides courteous service to customers and site personnel.
