Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial is seeking a Driver-Long Distance in Smyrna, GA. The role involves safely operating company tractors on long-haul routes, delivering waste and materials to multiple sites, and maintaining compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Must be able to travel overnight and work flexible hours, including weekends. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, 2+ years of verifiable driving experience, and the ability to meet DOT medical and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires Valid Class A CDL and DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience; end-dump, walking-floor, roll-off or waste hauling experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and meet DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer safely in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; submit DVIRs and report defects.
• Record hours of service using ELD and stay within hours-of-service limits.
• Load and unload activities per dispatch; communicate delays promptly to Driver Manager.
• Ensure loads are secured and within legal weight limits; complete shipping documents accurately.
