Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support our distribution centers by planning loads, selecting carriers, and coordinating inbound networks for furniture and related shipments.

You will track loads from pickup to delivery, manage trailer pools, troubleshoot in-transit issues, and communicate with DCs, carriers, and stores. Strong MS Excel/Outlook and 1 year logistics experience are preferred; agility, teamwork, and willingness to work extended hours

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including telephone etiquette.
• Proficient MS Excel and Outlook skills.
• Ability to work well with others and support team goals.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Follow a load plan and assign carriers per routing guide.
• Track loads from pickup to delivery and manage time across tasks.
• Maintain trailer pools for carriers and DCs.
• Troubleshoot in-transit issues for all loads from DC.
• Answer emails promptly and organize solutions by urgency.
• Participate in conference calls with partners, carriers, warehouses, stores.
• Extract data to create reports and distribute to internal and external partners.
• Operate across multiple DCs and interfaces as needed.
