Job summary

Cascades is seeking a Logistics Transport Assistant to coordinate shipping, ensure on-time deliveries, and manage updates. Candidates should have 2–5 years in logistics, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipping activities to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Verify shipment and delivery information for accuracy.
• Process goods issues and generate invoices according to established procedures.
• Manage order changes and transportation updates as needed.
• Communicate proactively with Customer Service regarding production delays or shipment concerns.
• Monitor inventory and production schedules to identify delivery risks.
• Optimize trailer loading and transportation utilization for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and logistics processes.
• Complete daily transportation and warehouse monitoring activities and address issues promptly.

• Base Salary: LOGISTICS TRANSPORT ASSISTANT $55k plus Profit Sharing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipping activities to ensure on-time deliveries.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of logistics, transportation, or warehouse experience; Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage changing priorities and stakeholder needs.
