Job summary

Cascades is seeking a Production Manager in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma to lead the converting team with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will oversee scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation to meet ambitious production targets.

You will apply lean manufacturing principles, drive cost efficiencies, and develop your team through training and performance coaching, partnering with senior management to advance Cascades' manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and SAP/ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the converting team, fostering a safety-first culture and continuous improvement.
• Oversee scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation to meet production targets.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing.
• Implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Prepare and present production performance reports with KPIs to senior management.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Drive lean implementation and sustain best-practice manufacturing methods.

• Base Salary for PRODUCTION MANAGER is: $95k - $140k
• Salary based on relevant experience, strengths and requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the converting team, fostering a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the converting process, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation to meet production targets.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous inspection and testing procedures.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Monitor and control production costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and KPI’s to senior management.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Drive the strategic plan by leading the ongoing implementation of lean manufacturing best practice utilizing experience with lean methodologies and tools.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related technical degree
• 5+ Years of progressive leadership & learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Servant leadership mindset with experience building and developing teams in the manufacturing sector.
• A collaborative spirit that inspires and engage teams to achieve excellence.
• Lean Manufacturing and SAP/ERP experience.
• Paper manufacturing experience, specifically in converting operations.
