Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver development programs for warehouse staff on a day shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). You will create engaging sessions, assess learner needs and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within our distribution centers in Maryland.

The role requires knowledge of adult learning principles, ability to follow directions, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior warehouse experience and a training background are preferred.

Qualifications

Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
Ability to follow verbal and written directions
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Ability to lift 10 to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. infrequently

Responsibilities

Present or facilitate training opportunities using diverse formats and techniques
Provide training programs to help workers maintain and improve job skills
Schedule classes based on classroom, equipment, and instructor availability
Attend meetings to obtain information for training programs
Inform management of training program status
