Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver learning programs for warehouse staff. You will present training opportunities using varied formats, develop programs to boost skills, and schedule classes across shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with PIT equipment operation in a warehouse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Training.
• Professional training certification.
• 2 years of warehouse experience, incl. 1 year in a training role.

• Provide training programs to help workers maintain and improve job skills.

Weekend Shift, Saturday - Monday, 6:00am - 6:30pm

As the Trainer, you will provide the resources and training to ensure our employees increase their knowledge and grow professionally. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Present or facilitate training opportunities using a variety of formats and techniques, including role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures
• Provide training programs to help workers maintain and improve job skills
• Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment and instructors
• Attend meetings and seminars to obtain information for use in training programs
• Inform management of training program status

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and adult training methodologies
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to lift 10 to 25 lbs. on a regular basis, and up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis
• 3+ years PIT equipment operation in a warehouse environment.

It'd be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or Training
• Professional training certification
• 2 years of warehouse experience, including 1 year in a training role
