Job summary

HireTalent is hiring an Associate Logistics Technician for a manufacturing facility in Elma, NY. This contract role supports stockroom and material handling operations.

Shifts include 1st (6:45 AM–3:15 PM) and 2nd (12:30 PM–8:30 PM or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). Responsibilities: maintain stock balances, issue/receive parts, track lot-traceable items, and interface with engineers and assembly teams. Lift up to 65 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and comfortable learning multiple transaction screens.
• Background in warehousing or logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shifts and lift up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock balances; issue and receive parts across stockroom locations
• Perform verifications, corrections, kit issues, shop floor issues, and cycle count reconciliations
• Track lot-traceable parts with a high degree of accuracy in a real-time system
• Receive from shop floor and Receiving Inspection; process returns to stock and inter-stock transfers
• Interface daily with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch, Model Shop, and Assembly/Test personnel
• Train new employees and support multiple stockrooms as workload requires
• Handle parts and materials weighing up to 65 lbs using proper packaging/handling techniques
• Flag deviations from standard practices (cure dates, packaging, material handling)
• Maintain stockroom housekeeping and organization
