Job summary

Tekberry is seeking an Associate Logistics Technician to work on-site in Elma, NY. This contract role reports to the Stockroom Supervisor and involves maintaining stock accuracy, processing transactions, and supporting multiple stockrooms during daily operations.

You will train new employees, handle lot-traceable parts, and ensure proper packaging, handling, and ESD procedures, while communicating with engineers and analysts to keep inventory aligned with production needs.

• Trains new employees and supports multiple stockrooms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock balances and reconcile errors.
• Use transaction screens for verifications, corrections, kit issues, shortages, receipts, transfers.
• Maintain accuracy with lot-traceable parts and real-time transactions.
• Interface with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch Personnel, Model Shop Expediters, Receiving Inspection, and Assembly/Test personnel.
• Train new employees and work in different stockrooms.
• Lift parts/boxes up to 65 lbs.
• Follow proper packaging and handling procedures to prevent damage.
• Complete and follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) training.
• Identify and question deviations from standard practices.
• Sign off on Certification Sheets for spare parts.
• Keep stockrooms neat and orderly.

Pay Range: $23/hr

Shift: M-F, 1st shift (6:45am - 3:15pm) OR 2nd shift (2:30pm - 8:30pm or 2:00pm - 10:30pm)

Tekberry is looking for a reliable Associate Logistics Technician to work on-site with our client, a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components company.

This position reports to the Stockroom Supervisor along with the Stockroom Coordinator(s) and Packaging Clerk(s).

• Inventory & Stockroom: Maintain accurate stock balances, issue/receive parts, verify cycle counts, and reconcile errors.
• Transactions: Use the required transaction screens for verifications, corrections, kit issues, shop floor issues, shortages, receipts, returns, transfers, and spare shipments.
• Accuracy: Maintain a high level of accuracy when working with lot-traceable parts and real-time inventory transactions.
• Communication: Interface with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch Personnel, Model Shop Expediters, Receiving Inspection, and Assembly/Test personnel.
• Training: Train new employees and work in different stockrooms as needed.
• Physical Requirements: Remain on your feet constantly and lift parts/boxes ranging from less than 1 lb. up to 65 lbs.
• Material Handling: Follow proper packaging and handling procedures to prevent damage and injuries.
• ESD: Complete and follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) training and handling requirements.
• Quality/Compliance: Identify and question deviations from standard practices, including cure dates, packaging, and material handling.
• Documentation: Sign off on Certification Sheets for spare parts.
• Housekeeping: Keep stockrooms neat and orderly, clean material handling pans, consolidate inventory, and maintain supplies.
