Job summary

IES is seeking a Technician I - Logistics to provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support at our Meridian, MS location. The role involves packaging, labeling, tagging inventory and maintaining accurate logs of daily activities.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and at least two years in a warehouse setting, with basic SAP/Spectrum knowledge and intermediate MS Office skills. The position offers full benefits after 30 days and requires adherence to safety and Lean

Qualifications

Must have High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
Basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
Intermediate skill using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to meet Company minimum driving standards.
Must be able to use power tools.

Responsibilities

Package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
Log daily activities including receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing materials and completing assignments.
Conduct cycle-counts of inventory and manage daily log.
Enter material into IES Inventory database.
Load and unload goods and ensure proper handling.
Maintain warehouse quality by tracking damaged inventory and reporting it.
Operate forklifts and company vehicles as required.
Follow 5S and Lean principles to organize and streamline tasks.
Carry out all assigned tasks efficiently.
