Job description

We have immediate hire openings for Logistics Technician to join our team supporting Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). This position is based in Fredericksburg, VA. ICI Services is a 100% Employee-Owned small business celebrating 25 years of delivering superior products and responsive services aligned to customer needs. Our employee-owners include acquisition analysts, financial analysts, engineers, configuration specialists, logisticians, technicians, IT professionals, and ship production specialists providing integral, quality support to multiple Navy organizations. We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA.

Security Clearance:

Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position Overview:

Manage and coordinate logistics, procurement, and inventory management activities supporting the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Support ex-USN, ex-USCG, and United States supplied systems to multiple countries as part of the FMS program. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive logistics support for warehouse operations and shipping to ensure material and system readiness, including inventory planning, supply support, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and OCONUS shipping support.
  2. Maintain detailed lists of required parts and materials for existing and incoming inventory.
  3. Coordinate with contract personnel, logistics managers, and project teams to report status and resolve issues.
  4. Support warehouse operations to ensure safe and efficient receipt, storage, and shipping of government-owned property and materials.
  5. Input, track, review, and report on Government/Contractor Furnished Equipment (GFE/CFE), material, and configuration data.
  6. Act as POC for disposition and lateral transfers of accountable property.
  7. Research supply chain issues to identify and address potential problems proactively.
Experience Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of related warehouse/inventory experience.
  • Working knowledge of supply systems, policies, and procedures relevant to the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in adverse warehouse conditions.
Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active forklift license.
  • Active Department of Transportation (DOT) HazMat Certification.
  • Associate degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience with international logistics, shipping, and customs compliance.
  • Ability to implement process improvements for inventory and organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of executing all logistics and supply chain activities, including receipt, inventory, disposition, and shipping. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
