Job summary

Toyoda Gosei Americas is seeking a supervisor to lead weekly line/shift activities in our Kentucky facility. You will manage daily staffing, machine loading, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential to reduce waste and downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, TPS familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance. Excellent communication and organization are a must.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to use small hand tools; bend, kneel and twist.
• Three to five years supervisory experience.
• Must lift/move 25 lbs regularly; may lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Knowledge of and experience with TPS.
• No more than six points under Attendance Control System.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have no written corrective action.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare weekly T/L meetings and Training of T/L.
• Daily manning and machine loading.
• Maintain set limit on PPM by addressing abnormal conditions and conducting countermeasure activity.
• Check defect table to ensure parts before discard meet quality boundaries.
• Removing Waste/Manpower reductions.
• Monitor T/L and T/M attitudes, teamwork and attendance.
• Improve relationships with all other departments.
• Report downtime to Manager and discuss floor feedback.
• Ensure EMS / QMS procedures are followed in job duties.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
