Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our automotive production team. You will help minimize downtime, boost line productivity, and uphold the Toyota Production System and TB Way across the plant, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
• High School diploma or GED required; Industrial Maintenance Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
• Oversee machines in Sewing area, Assembly area and Injection Molding area.
• Machine uptime/downtime management.
• Support Kaizen and other related activities.
• Work with the Engineering department to improve processes.
• Utilize TPS techniques to standardize processes, identify waste, and standardize new methods.
• Maintain daily 5S in the work area and with equipment.
• Be adaptable and ready for overtime to meet Just-In-Time demands.
