Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America is seeking a shift-based supervisor to oversee shipping and receiving in its Indiana facility. You will lead Team Leaders and Team Members, manage staffing, ensure TPS standards, and drive safety, quality, and productivity.

Candidates should have an associate degree and leadership experience, with TPS/PEFF familiarity, strong communication, and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of TPS and PEFF.

Responsibilities

• Function as a first-line supervisor over team leaders and team members.
• Plan and coordinate hiring and placement of team members with the Assistant Manager.
• Ensure consistent compliance with company rules, policies, and practices.
• Provide direction and motivation focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and morale.
• Lead continuous improvement and KPI tracking.
