Kuehne+Nagel's Contract Logistics team is hiring a Warehouse Lead in the United States to design, manage, and optimize solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. You will lead workflows, oversee shipments, and train staff in a safety-conscious, organized warehouse environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, SAP and Excel experience, and flexibility for overtime. Expect 6:00–14:30 or 7:00–15:30 shifts Tue–Sat with weekly pay.

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient product movement, accurate inventory management, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role assists in coordinating workflows, overseeing shipments, and leading employee training while maintaining an organized and secure warehouse environment. You will be required to work Tuesday through Saturday, either 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed to support business requirements. The pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour, paid weekly.

How you create impact

• Lead and coordinate the movement of department products to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist in picking and staging shipments as needed to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Support the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment.
• Ensure work schedules are properly followed, assigning duties efficiently and ensuring timely completion.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization, implementing strategic consolidation efforts to improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in alignment with 5S company standards.
• Complete and maintain required records and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support inventory integrity, assisting with physical inventory counts and reconciliation efforts.
• Lead start Shift meetings, providing detailed operational updates and task assignments.
• Ensure proper training and role integration.
• Identify and resolve operational discrepancies, applying problem-solving techniques to maintain efficiency.
