The role acts as a bridge between production, sales and distribution, requiring strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years in logistics scheduling or related work.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficiency with logistics software to track shipments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to prioritize, take initiative, and work independently.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Capable of handling stress and accommodating non-standard hours.
• Warehouse inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Arrange transportation with carriers and monitor shipments for timely delivery.
• Review purchase orders and verify shipping documents.
• Respond to customer inquiries on order status and coordinate with sales teams.
• Negotiate freight rates and optimize shipping routes to minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with shipping, customs, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve shipping issues and delays.
• Generate KPI reports on delivery times, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports.
• Collaborate with the 3PL warehouse and drive process improvements.
• Build relationships with carriers and negotiate contracts.
• Provide administrative support for Operations.
• Maintain calendars for Operations meetings and events.
• Research and pull data from systems and create reports for management.
• Keep production, shipping & raw material schedules updated in the Database.
• Order and manage office supplies.
• Answer and screen calls; take messages and assist as possible.
• Provide backup to other administrative staff during breaks and leave.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
