Ryder Last Mile in Romulus, MI is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations and coach staff. The role is salaried with a daytime schedule and requires coordinating with the Logistics Manager to ensure customer service standards and KPI achievement.

The successful candidate will have a HS diploma or GED and 1+ year in transportation/warehouse or distribution, with 0–1 year of supervisory experience. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 per year.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to one year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer specs.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance evaluations.
• Work with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Provide coaching and develop staff to meet objectives.
