Job summary

Ryder in Romulus, MI is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee all activities for the account, including payroll, profitability and customer satisfaction. This salaried role requires strong leadership of both salaried and hourly staff and collaboration with senior management.

You will manage P&L, vendor sourcing, invoicing, safety compliance, and reporting to senior management. The position offers benefits, standard holidays and PTO, and a schedule Monday–Friday with competitive pay of $70,000

Qualifications

• Three years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Experience managing a team of hourly employees is a plus; experience managing labor and KPIs is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L and report profitability to management.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to meet expectations.
