Air Liquide Electronics in Albany, NY is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to manage all site logistics operations, including delivery scheduling, driver compliance, fleet management, and waste programs. You will lead the logistics team, conduct daily safety meetings, and drive cost-efficient shipment processes to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge for Hazmat shipping, and effective staff training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (5+ years of experience acceptable)
• 7+ years relevant experience, including 5+ years shipping Hazmat (IATA, IMDG, DOT)
• Proficiency in the English language
• Be able to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
• Experience Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery schedules and routes for NY Creates TGCM site deliveries.
• Oversee direct reports hours in myHR and coordinate time off and coverage.
• Ensure direct reports driving hours and e-logs comply with DOT regulations
• Provide input for annual performance review for direct reports
• Lead daily safety and quality meetings with the logistics team.
• Coordinate the use of third-party drivers due to absences or constraints
• Manage the transportation fleet, including PIT equipment, ensuring maintenance
• Provide guidance and training to the logistics department
• Maintain on-call rotation schedule for customer support
• Interact with internal and external customers
