Job summary

LGT Transport is hiring a full-time Logistics Supervisor in Omaha, NE for an in-office role. You will coordinate driver schedules, pre-plan loads, and collaborate with drivers and terminals to ensure on-time delivery of hazmat products.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and experience with analytics or transportation management systems, plus strong communication and multitasking abilities to handle a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Experience using analytics or transportation management systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external groups.
• Self-motivated with ownership to drive results and take on challenges.

Responsibilities

• Create driver delivery schedules to meet customer demands and assign/pre-plan loads.
• Optimize schedules in an IT-enabled environment to minimize supply chain costs.
• Communicate with drivers, terminals, and the operations team to resolve issues.
