Job Description
The Supervisor, Supply Chain Logistics is responsible for leading the Supply Chain Logistics team and overseeing the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies, linens, and equipment throughout the Health System. This role develops and maintains efficient processes and workflows to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of supplies and equipment to support operational needs.
The supervisor provides leadership and direction to Supply Chain Logistics staff, including employees covered under Collective Bargaining Agreements, and fosters a productive, customer-focused work environment. The position also maintains strong partnerships with vendors, business unit leaders, Procure-to-Pay, and Strategic Sourcing teams to support effective supply chain operations and service excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with at least three years of hospital supply chain experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management, distribution, supply chain operations, and staff supervision. Strong communication, listening, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results, manage projects effectively, and make sound business decisions that support strategic supply chain initiatives.
