Priority Waste is seeking a Logistics Manager for its Saginaw, MI yard to lead a drivers team and coordinate daily waste collection logistics. You will act as liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service while driving continuous improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in logistics with strong routing, dispatch, and fleet operations knowledge, plus excellent communication and coaching skills to develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field; supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of routing, dispatch, and fleet operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics/route management systems.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support a team of drivers, including daily oversight and coaching.
• Assign and adjust routes and carrier responsibilities for efficient delivery.
• Provide real-time support to drivers to resolve service, safety, and equipment issues.
• Escalate and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Communicate with drivers and internal teams via phone, Teams chat, and video.
• Track and update the status of daily waste removal routes using internal systems.
